Job Overview:
The Solutions Architect will be responsible for providing architectural leadership and direction for the Commercial and Marketing technology domains of the organization. The Solutions architect will partner across all areas of IT including Enterprise Architecture, Application development, Infrastructure Engineering, and Infrastructure Operations, to deliver high quality solutions that comprehensively address the business and operational requirements defined for them. The Solutions Architect will be the primary subject matter expert in all aspects of Commercial and Makreting Technologies including Reference Architecture, Solutions Design, Technology Road Maps, Process Optimization, and Project Leadership.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Leads the development and on-going maturity of Fortrea's Enterprise Platform Technology strategy, including but not limited to; Server, Application installation and configuration, data integrations, custom and package software implementation, software selections specifically in the Marketing and Commerical space.
Supports the development and on-going maturity of Fortrea's Private Cloud Computing strategy, including but not limited to; Provisioning, Planning, Configuration Management, Automation, Orchestration, and integration with Service Management.
Establishes standards, policies & guidelines for Enterprise Platform Computing Infrastructure, in collaboration with technology domain teams
Analyzes and works with project teams to develop optimal infrastructure solutions to complex project's business requirements.
Delivers approved designs in accordance with Fortrea Architectural governance and the Project Management Tollgate Methodology.
Partners with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure Leads, and technology suppliers in the evaluation, piloting, acceptance, and delivery of new technology for the organization
Helps promote a consistent vision and strategy throughout the organization
Builds relationships which foster collaboration and partnerships to drive better strategies, priorities, and service to the customer
Responsible for building a productive relationship with Fortrea's technology suppliers
Continually assesses technology solutions and operational efficiency to improve service and lower cost
Provides technical leadership to peers and junior members within the organization
Act as a technical coordinator for projects, as required
Provides On-Call Support for Business-Critical escalations
All other duties as needed or assigned.
Qualifications (Minimum Required):
Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent discipline
Experience (Minimum Required):
Minimum of 7-10 years experience engineering, building, and supporting a global Commercial and Marketing technologies
2-5 years of experience providing architecture/design services within a global large heterogeneous multi-data center computing environment.
Demonstrated working knowledge of Integrations, as well as a deep functional understanding of the technologies and troubleshooting methods used to support in the virtualization layer
Working knowledge of database management systems and Marketing and Commercial data attributes and reporting systems
Proven expertise with:
Commercial CRM technologies, Marketing technologies
Hands on experience with
Commercial CRM technologies, Marketing technologies
Strong Project Leadership including planning, coordination, tracking, and management of issues
Good communication and presentation skills, including the ability to articulate technically complex concepts to non-technical and managerial audiences
Creative, innovative, and well-organized individual with a history of consistent follow-through
Proven track record of acting as a strategic partner with IT leadership
Proven ability to influence and interact effectively with peers and IT leaders
Innovative team player with strong analytical problem solving and interpersonal skills.
Strong crisis and vendor management
Preferred Qualifications Include:
Working knowledge of Marketing and Commercial systems
Knowledge of SalesForce technologies
Background in the Pharmaceutical development services or related industry
Six-sigma Green Belt Certification
