As a System Analyst, the candidate will be required to collect and evaluate the requirements for a new system. A System Analyst's Job would entail catering to documentation like flowcharts apart from helping in software selection and checking systems once they're in place. The systems analyst will also be expected to act as a liaison between the business departments of an organization and the IT function of the company too. S/he will be required to collaborate with not just the end users but also the IT staff so that s/he may evaluate computer systems or design new ones if the need arises. The role of a systems analyst is also to help convert business goals into technical needs. As a systems analyst, the candidate will be needed not only to work on a company's particular IT system but also with a client's legacy environment so it is imperative that the aspirant should be able to adapt to different programming languages with ease. S/he will also be expected to map and document interfaces between legacy and new systems. Understanding the lifecycle of software development is also the task of a system analyst as is her/his task to translate client requirements into quantified assignments. The candidate applying for a System Analyst Job will also need to identify options for potential solutions and assess them for not just technical but also business suitability.
