we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced operation manager to oversee the daily operations of our boatyard in maldives. the ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine operations and management, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.

responsibilities

• oversee daily operations of the boatyard, including maintenance, repair, and servicing of vessels
• develop and implement policies and procedures for efficient and effective operations
• manage a team of technicians, mechanics, and support staff, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
• coordinate with other departments, including sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
• ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety requirements
• manage budgets and financial performance of the boatyard, tracking expenses and revenues to ensure profitability

skills and qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in marine operations and management
• bachelor s degree in marine engineering, or diploma marine operations, or a related field
• strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and team members
• solid understanding of marine engineering and vessel maintenance
• ability to manage budgets and financial performance
• strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• fluency in english is required knowledge of local languages is a plus
• must be a female candidate
