we are urgently looking for a front office supervisor to join our luxury resort in the maldives. the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the front office department, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
responsibilities
- supervising the day-to-day operations of the front office department, including reception, guest services, and reservations
- managing and mentoring a team of front office staff, ensuring that they are trained to provide exceptional customer service
- handling guest complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- maintaining accurate records and reports, including daily occupancy and revenue reports
- assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
- ensuring that all front office procedures are followed and that all staff adhere to company policies and procedures
- working closely with other departments to ensure that guest requests are handled promptly and efficiently
- assisting with the development and implementation of new policies and procedures as needed
skills and qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury resort
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management
- strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team
- solid understanding of front office procedures and hotel operations
- proficiency in ms office and hotel management software
- excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- bachelor s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
- salary based on experience and interviews plus dynamic service charge
- english mandatory

- 4/5 star hotel / resort experience mandatory
