Apart from acting as the face of the organization, a front office manager's job will entail coordinating all the front desk activities ranging from making calls, doing reservations and taking care of guest services. As a Front office manager, the candidate should come across as a pleasing person with the willingness to take on supervision work as also help lead the team. S/he would be expected to show an extremely professional attitude and also put forth the ability to deal competently with complaints. S/he should also have a solid customer service approach. The aspirant looking for a front office manager job should have it her/him to ensure that the front desk is tidy at all given times and also has all necessary stationery and material that could be required for disseminating information to clients or partners. S/he would be expected to train as well as supervise and support office staff, including receptionists, security guards and call centre agents. S/he will also be expected to troubleshoot emergencies while at the same time managing and monitoring stock and order office supplies.
