What are we looking for:

We are looking for a Territory Sales Manager to drive and enable our business growth in commercial insurance/SME insurance sales throughout the sales process in new cities within the Madhya Pradesh region. This role requires a highly organized individual who is a strong communicator, can quickly build rapport with customers, and is driven to win in the marketplace.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Fieldwork:
  • Visit clients at their locations to present insurance solutions.
  • Conduct on-site assessments to understand client needs.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand the client base.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support.
  • Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Sales Performance:
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals to clients.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to close deals.
  • Product Knowledge:
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of insurance products and services.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and regulations.
  • Provide clients with accurate and relevant information about insurance products.
  • Administrative Duties:
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance.
  • Collaborate with the underwriting and claims departments to ensure seamless client service.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years experience in sales, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, market trends, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work on the field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Licentiate, AIII, FIII) are a plus.
