Technical Architect

JOBDescription :

ServiceNow Custom Application Development Technical Architect will be responsible for designing and articulating solutions for custom applications development requirements to satisfy business needs using best practices This includes development and maintenance of various components technical documentation and implementation guides etc.

Technical architect will be responsible for bestpractices guidance support across technical planning and execution activitiesfrom building the right technical strategy and implementation plan to design custom application and features.

He/she will work independently to architect design developenhance Custom Application and its capabilitiesfeatures

RoleResponsibilities

Establish and review technical architecture and implementation strategy for building custom application and feature. Drive standardization and best practice for ServiceNow custom app development

Establish technical governance to optimize custom app performance and minimize technical risk

Build and guide development team focused on delivering value and innovation

Define guide and support the execution of technical governance processes

Consult with stakeholders to understand their business needs and pain points and build strong relationship with business stakeholderssponsor

Optimize the ServiceNow data model architectural model and structures proposing and enforcing coding standards and convention across the development teams

Assist in developing standards and practices for maintaining the healthperformancesecurity of the custom application and features

Provides technical evaluation of demands against ServiceNow platform architecture platform capabilities and best practices

Provide guidancesolution on custom application design including considerations for integration and performance

Assess architecture and solution designs to support objectives including alignment with ServiceNow implementation best practices

Offer guidance on prototyping and accelerating time from design to deployment

Provide technical guidance for development and solutions

Advise on configuration and coding standards

Support remediation of configurations not aligned to ServiceNow best practices

Review custom app design issues and provide guidance to developers on fixing defects

Proactive responsive and focused on anticipating future requirements andor issues

Drive Zero SLA failure for incidentsrequests amongst team members

Foundation data expansiondata quality maintenance

Develop clear and concise technicalprocessuser manual documentation

Strong collaboration with stakeholders including internal customers stakeholders and vendors to understand challenges and gain consensus on improved system and operational solutions

Technical and Industry Experience

Industry and project experience of 8 years with ServiceNow

At least 5 years handson experience in developing custom app using App Engine and Flow Designer

Experience in implementing custom applications which include but not limited to custom tables catalog items Flows script includes portal widgets ACLs and business rules

Expertise with JavaScript HTML and CSS

Experience working in an IT Service Management ITILAgileDevOps environment

Expertise in ServiceNow Coding java script business rules client scripts UI Policies etc

Knowledge on ServiceNow ITSM in ServiceNow

Experience on RESTSOAP based integrations

Sound knowledge of industry standards and methodologies

Strong analytical skills communication and presentation skills

Prior experience of working with globally dispersed virtual teams across a number of disciplines

Strong interpersonal skills with a collaboration mindset both within and outside the immediate team

Creative and solution oriented

Willing to take on new challenges and drive them to completion

Certifications Preferred

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator CSA

ServiceNow Certified Application Developer CAD

ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist ITSM CISITSM
