Senior Sales Engineer
Duties & Responsibilities
- Customer Acquisition & Assessment:
- Identify potential customers for wear protection coatings.
- Gather information using the customer information card.
- Enhance customer relationships and satisfaction.
- Drive innovation in wear protection applications.
- Achieve sales targets and foster new business opportunities.
- After-Sales Service: Provide timely follow-ups and support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Application Development: Innovate and create new applications for wear-resistant coatings.
- Order Management: Respond to inquiries, prepare quotations, negotiate, and finalize orders.
- Activity Tracking: Monitor customer interactions and updates in the CRM system and ensure new/amended work orders and payments are tracked and managed.
- Trial Demonstrations: Conduct trials to showcase the benefits of coatings, generating trial reports and meeting minutes.
- Seminar Coordination: Organize seminars for customers, including logistics like venue and participant arrangements.
- Field Planning: Develop strategic plans to achieve budgeted targets.
- Documentation Management: Maintain required files and documents and collaborate with the Marketing Manager on the Key Customer Management System (K.C.M.).
Educational Qualifications
Required education, experience, knowledge:
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical or Production Engineering, or equivalent certification (preferred).
Professional Experience
- 7-10 years in sales of cutting tools, including:
- Gear cutting tools (Hobs, Shapers, Broaches)
- Solid carbide shank tools (Drills, End mills, etc.)
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective negotiation abilities to secure favorable terms.
- Proficient in analyzing data and developing strategic plans.
- Knowledge of machining processes (VMC, Hobbing, Shaping, Broaching).
- Understanding of tool geometries and regrinding processes.
- Familiarity with design principles, manufacturing processes, and metallurgy, troubleshooting skills in relevant areas.
- Understanding of market trends and dynamics, established customer contacts to leverage business opportunities.
- Proficient in relevant software applications, including CRM systems.
Job Location : Manesar ( Managing Direct Sales activities for the customers in Manesar, Rudrapur, Noida etc.)
