GIMSR (GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager of Admissions and Outreach. The role requires a dynamic individual who can lead the admissions and marketing efforts for the various courses offered, including Medical, and Dental admissions. Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and admissions strategies for all GIMSR programs.
- Identify target markets and create tailored campaigns to attract prospective students.
- Monitor and analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform strategy.
2. Admissions Management:
- Oversee the admissions process from inquiry through enrolment, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for prospective students.
- Develop and manage relationships with schools, colleges, and educational consultants.
- Implement effective lead management and follow-up processes.
- Ensure compliance with the counselling procedures of the National
- Medical Commission (NMC) and Health University, Andhra Pradesh.
3. Marketing and Outreach:
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels including digital, print, and events.
- Organize and participate in outreach activities such as educational fairs, school visits, and open days.
- Collaborate with the university's central marketing team to ensure brand consistency and leverage institutional resources.
4. Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the admissions and outreach team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance the team's skills and knowledge.
5. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with academic departments to understand program offerings and admission criteria.
- Liaise with external stakeholders including industry partners and regulatory bodies to enhance program visibility and credibility.
6. Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and report on key performance metrics related to admissions and marketing activities.
- Conduct data analysis to measure the effectiveness of strategies and campaigns, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Education, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in admissions, marketing, or related roles, preferably in the education sector.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing and admissions strategies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation tools.
