Job Description

GIMSR (GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager of Admissions and Outreach. The role requires a dynamic individual who can lead the admissions and marketing efforts for the various courses offered, including Medical, and Dental admissions. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to attract and enroll students across all programs, ensuring

GIMSR's growth and reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and admissions strategies for all GIMSR programs.
  • Identify target markets and create tailored campaigns to attract prospective students.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform strategy.

2. Admissions Management:

  • Oversee the admissions process from inquiry through enrolment, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for prospective students.
  • Develop and manage relationships with schools, colleges, and educational consultants.
  • Implement effective lead management and follow-up processes.
  • Ensure compliance with the counselling procedures of the National
  • Medical Commission (NMC) and Health University, Andhra Pradesh.

3. Marketing and Outreach:

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels including digital, print, and events.
  • Organize and participate in outreach activities such as educational fairs, school visits, and open days.
  • Collaborate with the university's central marketing team to ensure brand consistency and leverage institutional resources.

4. Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor the admissions and outreach team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
  • Conduct training sessions to enhance the team's skills and knowledge.

5. Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work closely with academic departments to understand program offerings and admission criteria.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders including industry partners and regulatory bodies to enhance program visibility and credibility.

6. Reporting and Analysis:

  • Track and report on key performance metrics related to admissions and marketing activities.
  • Conduct data analysis to measure the effectiveness of strategies and campaigns, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Education, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in admissions, marketing, or related roles, preferably in the education sector.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing and admissions strategies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation tools.
