The person will be part of the larger mi.com Team and will manage the Campaign team within - leading, optimizing and delivering the platform's marketing strategies. The person will be responsible for managing all aspects of ecommerce marketing for the platform - from driving online traffic and increasing conversion rates to enhancing overall brand visibility through the platform. The role requires a blend of creativity, data-driven decision-making and hands-on experience in ecommerce, campaigns, SEO, customer acquisition and retention.
Role & Responsibilities
- D2C Ecommerce Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for the brand store/ platform that is aligned with overall business goals.
- Coordinate with product and sales teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to brand promotion and customer engagement.
- Lead and manage the mi.com campaign marketing team to execute digital campaigns effectively, focusing on driving traffic, conversion, and customer retention.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration: Manage a team of high energy marketing professionals, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance management.
- Foster collaboration with internal teams (creative, product, sales) and external partners to execute marketing initiatives.
- Campaign Planning & Execution: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of all visibility and marketing efforts (SEO, content marketing, CRM etc)
- Drive consistent messaging and branding across digital touchpoints, ensuring alignment with broader marketing and sales strategies.
- Customer Acquisition & Retention: Lead customer acquisition efforts, with a focus on improving cost-per-acquisition (CPA), customer lifetime value (CLV), and overall ROI.
- Develop CRM strategies to nurture leads and increase repeat purchase rates
- Identify strategic partnerships to drive traffic and expand reach.
- Data Analytics & Optimization: Analyse key ecommerce performance metrics (traffic, conversion, AOV, CLV) and make data-driven decisions to optimize the user journey, conversion rate, and overall store performance.
- Regularly monitor campaign performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement A/B testing for ongoing optimization.
- Budget & Resource Management: Manage and optimize the ecommerce marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources to maximize ROI across campaigns.
- Track expenses and ensure campaigns are delivered within budget and on time.
- Projects: Work with internal and cross functional teams on various new initiatives and projects.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience in ecommerce marketing, specifically in D2C or brand store environments
- Proven track record in driving D2C growth and increasing online sales
- Expertise in SEO, CRO, and customer retention strategies - In-depth knowledge of SEO/SEM best practices, keyword research, and analytics
- Strong proficiency and hands-on experience with digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, SEO tools like SEMrush/Ahrefs)
- Solid understanding of CRM systems and communication platforms (e.g., MoEngage, WebEngage, CleaverTap)
- Analytical Mindset - Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights to drive performance
- Leadership & Cross collaboration - Ability to manage a team and collaborate across departments
- Creative Thinking - Excellent content strategy and creative campaign development skills.
- Communication Skills - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and insights to stakeholders and top management.

Education
Post Graduate Preferably from a Top Tier college with specialization in Marketing
Experience
10-12 years of experience
Past experience in D2C platform / e-commerce marketing is a must
