Job Description

Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to build partnership with vendors

Stay up-to-date on the industry by reading professional publications, maintaining your network, and participating in professional organizations

Guide the organization's solutions and campaigns, including reference architectures, customer presentations, webinars, and seminars etc.

Work with on solutions development and go-to-market strategies

Work on building business partner solutions and account alignment in targeted accounts

Research industry and related events, publications, and announcements to identify innovative ideas; track individual contributors and their accomplishments

Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners

Develop negotiation strategies and positions by studying the integration of new ventures with company strategies and operations while examining risks and potential and estimating partners needs and goals

Help close new business consulting deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements with business operations

Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluate options and resolve internal priorities

Identifies potential new services partnerships

Define, track, and communicate key relationship metrics and milestones to senior leadership

Required Skill Sets

Generating business leads to achieve short and long term revenue and profit growth through:

  • Executing on direct Business Development programs (Telemarketing, contact management, demand generation programs, etc.)
  • Developing and executing a Business Development Strategy for a metropolitan area

Develop And Maintain a High Level Understanding Of

  • Pegasus InfoCorp Offerings
  • Local competitive environment

Manage overall Business Development process from pre to post-sales

Develop and maintain an opportunity pipeline through the Customer Relationship Management System including support for Area Opportunity Pipeline Management Meetings, Forecasting, Opportunity Management, and Business and Technical Proposal Reviews

Proposal creation and delivery (written and oral participation with engagement team)
