Job Description

As a Senior Inventory Analyst, the incumbent will be responsible to design, develops and implementing analytic solutions for successful parts stocking for NPI program and availability post launch. Additionally, the expectation will be to analyze huge volume of data/information to find pattern and solutions. The incumbent will also be a business champion for system transformation projects within the team as well as across cross-functional teams.

What You Will Do

  • Business Champion for System Transformation projects and initiatives
  • Develop analytical solutions for improved inventory planning, optimizations, and visualization (using PC SAS / PowerApps / Python)
  • Develop automated processes to aid in data cleansing and maintenance using analytical tools
  • Develop and test new reporting tools, following standards and best practices.
  • Closely monitor programs / applications / tools and resolve issues as it occurs.
  • Proactively drive enhancements to improve the process efficiency of existing business solutions and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross functional team to understand process challenges and lead discussion to identify improvement opportunities.

Degree Requirement:

  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering / Statistics / Mathematics / Science / Commerce
  • 6 -8 years industry experience in Service Parts, Supply Chain, Inventory Management developing analytical solutions.
  • Advanced skill in SAS, Python, Power BI, Tableau and MS Office - Excel
  • Expertise in BASE and Advanced SAS, code optimization, PROC SQL and SAS Arrays
  • Good knowledge of machine learning methods
  • Expertise in data mining, extraction of useable data for customer requirement.

Explores new adoption scenarios of data visualization within the business unit.

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Tools: Knowledge of electronic data interchange tools; ability to design, implement and maintain tools and facilities in order to establish a computer-to-computer interchange of electronic data among organizations.
Level Working Knowledge:
Maps EDI data within appropriate applications; develops and test new maps.
Assists in the development of tools and techniques for electronic data interchange.
Adheres to electronic data interchange standards, policies and guidelines.
Operates main functions of electronic data interchange tools and facilities.
Compares different applications for use in different electronic data interchange situations.

Inventory Management: Knowledge of processes and methods of inventory management; ability to effectively manage organizations materials, commodities, merchandises, or products.
Level Extensive Experience:
Coordinates daily work of inventory management for different locations within a facility or a supply network.
Devises standard inventory management benchmarks to improve the processes.
Ensures that the inventory is at an appropriate level and meets both internal and external requirements.
Provides guidance on inventory management for a specific product group or location.
Applies systems and processes to identify and coordinate inventory requirements; resolves conflicts.
Reviews reports used for inventory management to find out related problems.
