As Senior Executive in Ads team, you will play a pivotal part in handling Deal Compliance, Revenue Reconciliation, Revenue Recognition and Cost Management at Hotstar. Your role will be to ensure adherence to audit and compliance policies and also liaising with various teams such as Sales, Strategy, Finance, Collections, Controllership, Tax and legal to setup various revenue and compliance related processes.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Deal Compliance
- Ensure adherence to Compliance, Policies and Approvals for each sales deal
- Analyse and Review deal related documents, Release Orders, Reports and Sales Agreements
- Conduct periodic audits/checks to improve control and mitigate risk
- Liaise with Statutory and internal auditors to ensure timely provision of data and successful resolution of queries
- Master Data and KYC Management for - onboarding new client
- Serve as internal expert to support Sales teams w.r.t Legal, Controllership, Audit and Tax related queries while negotiating any sales deal
2. Revenue Reconciliation and Recognition
- Manage revenue recon for - Direct, Programmatic, and other sources.
- Preparation and release of monthly/ quarterly revenue - by coordinating between Sales, Ops, Finance, Billing and Controllership
- Self-Serve Revenue Reporting, Reconciliation with Finance Team, sharing
- Invoicing data and managing post execution activities like TDS, Advance Refund, etc.
3. Contract Management
- Help in managing Ads teams contracts, associated expenses and utilization and overall execution.
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS
- Proficiency with advanced excel, MS Office. Working knowledge of MIS/ CRM systems, any software will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation
- Working knowledge of Controls, policies, Accounting, compliance, and risk management
- Knowledge of the Media industry, OTT
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- 2-3 years of experience
- Commerce/CA (preferred) with good computing skills
