Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience in statistical problem solving and analyzing data sets using SQL or related coding language (e.g., Python, R, Java, C++).
6 years of experience turning data into a narrative with visualizations (e.g., charts, graphs, tables) and presenting to HR professionals and executives.
6 years of experience interacting with and manipulating data using tools such as SQL, R, or other statistical languages.
6 years of experience working in data analytics, consulting, data science, engineering, or a technical operations role.
Preferred qualifications:
6 years of experience in scripting, statistical analysis (e.g., R, Stata, SPSS, SAS), developing and managing metrics, and evaluating programs/products.
6 years of experience preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
6 years of experience working in an organization.
About the job
The team works on a variety of challenging data science projects to drive product decisions for Google Play. In this role, you will work with components of strategy, analytics, and communications. The team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut existing organizations and deliver impact projects, and also help engineers, product managers, UX, and other cross-functional stakeholders to build products for users.
As a Business Analyst, you will solve problems, conduct interviews, and synthesize ideas. You will work with a small team on projects commissioned by Google Play's executive team while managing a work-stream.

Responsibilities
Identify and structure business problems, communicate challenges and opportunities.
Produce insights and metrics for various technical and business stakeholders.
Deliver presentations of findings and recommendations, creating visual displays of quantitative information.
Follow engineering best practices to create scalable data pipelines and models.
Engage and influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners, obtain buy in for potential solutions, adapt messaging and suggested recommendations.
