The principal responsibilities essentially include:
- Able to prepare/understand SCADA system architecture based on Overall SLD, project configuration, and as per utility guidelines.
- Able to understand MV Panel and control relay panels drawings/schematics.
- Able to prepare technical specification/RFP documents as per project requirements.
- Able to prepare IO list, communication cable schedules, and control logic writes up.
- Able to verify technical compliance of Hardware and software systems.
- Have basic knowledge of Protection of substations, power transformers, and generators
- Have Knowledge on Ethernet Switches, Router, and Firewall.
- Have knowledge of the different types of communication Ethernet, Fiber optic, Serial RS232/RS485, PLCC.
- Have Knowledge of Substation Automation and Communication Protocol Modbus RS-485, TCP/IP, IEC60870-5-101,103,104, IEC61850
- Shall have Knowledge of RTU, SAS, and HMI functionalities.
- Shall have knowledge of Cyber security, CEA grid compliance and Load Dispatch Centre Interface of Plant.
- Candidate having field experience in renewable energy projects shall be preferred. However, other industries candidate like Process, Oil & Gas may also apply.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in SCADA system Engineering.
- BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Willing to work at our office in Pune
