Job Description
To date FCSD business and system processes are a major part of the strategic transformation of Ford Motor Company to become an always on, fully customer-focused organization to support Fords future Model e, Ford Pro and Ford Blue parts and service strategies.
This includes implementation of new business processes as well as redesign of existing and implementation of new customer facing systems. In addition, activities have been started to define and execute the transition from the current SAP SPM to the new strategic SAP S4/ HANA solution.
In this context, the uSAP teams cover all processes from parts/service planning, warehouse management, order entry/processing, finance till parts delivery including all relevant master data set-up and maintenance.
As a software engineer you will be part of the Germany and Chennai based SAP Claims and Returns PDO team that is delivering all process and system enhancements and developments in close partnership with the Germany based product owners and related business teams.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and define business requirements, technology, processes, and solution having the overall architecture in mind.
- Work with end users and transfer business processes into the existing SAP Service Parts Management solution integrating with existing supply chain, warehouse, and finance modules.
- Develop end-to-end solution design and lead the implementation of the solution across various markets.
- Facilitate design, development, deployment, data migration and support of the solution with the aim to enhance after-market service parts functionality.
- Support the Hyper Care Support model development and implementation.
- Work closely with business teams to understand the challenges and recommend automation/value added options in the SAP Order to Cash, Claims and Returns area.
- Drive agile practices and behaviors within the product team.
Qualifications
- B.E. / B. Tech / M.C.A
- 10+ years of experience in a hands-on technical role engaged in developing, implementing, and supporting software applications.
- Require a minimum of 7+ years of experience working as an SAP SD or SAP CRM OTC consultant/ SME in larger complex SAP implementation projects.
- Ideally good understanding of the SAP Claims and Returns solution and how it is implemented in conjunction with other SAP components.
- Ideally first experience with OTC Claims and Returns set-up within SAP S4 HANA environment.
- Knowledge on agile methodologies and exposure to agile management tools like Rally and Jira.
- Prioritization skills involving competing interest. Proficiency in conflict resolution and problem-solving techniques.
- Good skills in presentation, facilitation, communication, and negotiation.
