Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP BRIM Consultant with deep expertise in Contract Management (CM). The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing SAP BRIM (formerly known as SAP Hybris Billing) with a focus on Subscription Order Management (SOM), Convergent Charging (SAP CC), Convergent Invoicing (SAP CI), and Contract Management modules.
The candidate will collaborate with various departments to ensure streamlined processes for billing, invoicing, revenue management, and contract lifecycle management. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and functional understanding to support the business in maximizing efficiency and accuracy in its revenue processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- BRIM Implementation & Customization:
- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP BRIM (Billing, Revenue Innovation Management) solutions.
- Implement Convergent Charging (SAP CC), Convergent Invoicing (SAP CI), and Subscription Order Management (SOM) modules.
- Customize solutions to meet the specific business needs around billing, invoicing, and contract management.
- Contract Management:
- Expertise in implementing and managing SAP Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) or integrating third-party contract management tools.
- Ensure the contract management process integrates seamlessly with billing, invoicing, and revenue management systems.
- Automate and streamline processes related to contract creation, execution, and management.
- Integration & Collaboration:
- Work closely with the finance, legal, sales, and operations teams to align contract management with billing and revenue processes.
- Ensure integration between BRIM and other SAP modules such as FI/CO (Finance & Controlling), CRM, and SD (Sales & Distribution).
- Data Migration & Validation:
- Lead efforts in data migration, cleansing, and validation during BRIM implementation.
- Ensure accuracy in contract data and revenue recognition.
- Support & Maintenance:
- Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting for billing and contract management issues.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users and provide ongoing support for system enhancements.
- Compliance & Best Practices:
- Ensure that billing and contract processes comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., IFRS 15/ASC 606).
- Apply industry best practices for optimizing revenue recognition and contract management processes.
Required Skills and Experience:
- SAP BRIM Expertise:
- 5+ years of experience with SAP BRIM (SAP Hybris Billing) and its components: SAP CC, SAP CI, SOM, and CM.
- Hands-on experience in implementing end-to-end SAP BRIM solutions, with a strong focus on Contract Management.
- Technical & Functional Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of SAP Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) or equivalent contract management platforms.
- Experience with integration of contract management systems into billing and invoicing modules.
- Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO, SD, and CRM modules.
- Industry Knowledge:
- Experience in industries such as telecommunications, media, utilities, or any other subscription-based services.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on automating and optimizing complex processes.
- Experience with data migration and data quality management.
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP BRIM certification.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards like IFRS 15/ASC 606.
- Experience with cloud-based solutions such as SAP S/4HANA and SAP Cloud Platform.
