Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our fast-paced startup. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and building a high-performing sales team. As a core part of our team, you will play a crucial role in scaling our business and achieving market success.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to meet business objectives.
- Set and monitor sales targets, KPIs, and revenue goals.
- Identify new market opportunities and drive business growth.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Address client concerns and ensure customer satisfaction to drive repeat business.
Market and Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
- Monitor competitor activities and develop strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Sales Operations and Reporting:
- Oversee sales operations, including pipeline management and CRM system utilization.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management.
- Ensure the sales process is efficient and aligns with organizational goals.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align strategies.
- Collaborate on campaigns, promotions, and product development to enhance sales.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 3-7 years of sales experience, preferably in startups or high-growth environments.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields; MBA is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience using CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
- Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-changing, startup environment.
- Data-driven approach to decision-making and performance tracking.
Preferred Attributes
- Prior experience in B2B EdTech.
- Hands-on experience in a startup, with a strong entrepreneurial mindset.
- Candidates with prior experience in sales within the education sector, particularly in colleges and universities, will be given preference
