Job Description

Job Title: Sales Manager

Locations: Goa, Mumbai, Pune, Jaipur

Overview:

Indie Stays, a renowned boutique hotel chain committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences, is seeking experienced and motivated Sales Managers to join our team in multiple locations including Goa, Mumbai, Pune, and Jaipur. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading the sales efforts in your assigned region, driving revenue growth, and building strong relationships with clients and partners in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidates should possess a strong sales background in the hotel industry, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability for Indie Stays hotels in the assigned region.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and cultivating relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other potential clients.
  3. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns, special offers, and packages to attract new business and drive revenue growth.
  4. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  5. Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to the management team, providing insights into performance metrics and areas for improvement.
  6. Coordinate with the reservations and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of bookings and exceptional guest experiences.
  7. Represent Indie Stays at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to increase brand visibility and expand the customer base.
  8. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and contracts using the hotel's CRM system.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in sales roles within the hospitality industry, with a minimum of [X] years of experience in hotel sales management.
  3. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve common goals.
  4. Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with clients.
  6. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  7. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable attitude towards changing priorities and environments.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  9. Knowledge of the local market in the assigned region (Goa, Mumbai, Pune, or Jaipur) and surrounding areas would be an advantage.
  10. Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required for client meetings, industry events, and sales activities.
  11. Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle would be preferred.
