Sales Lead - POFC India - Full Time - Pune, India

Join our CT_Polymer & Crystallization team within Chemtech division in India as Sales Lead - POFC India.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Lead generation through fairs / conferences / presentations and cold calls.
  • Customer presentation, understanding customer needs.
  • Quote generation in collaboration with sales product line manager in CTCH.
  • Clarification, negotiation and signing of contracts.
  • Maintaining customer relationship and documentation in CRM.
  • Business Development: Grow POFC business within the Indian market.
  • Management of Sales / PM support / Sales Support team with the following tasks.
  • Sales: Preparation of component / system quotations and cost calculation.
  • PM: Time & budget control, document management.
  • Sales Support: Preparation of component (SMX, SMXL & SMR) design, IC quote from CTCN and preparation of quotations, Foam Tendering Set Up, Devo Tendering SetUp.
  • Sulzer rules, directives and general standards
  • Acts according to Sulzer values and behaviors
  • Actively contributes to a sustainably positive perception of Sulzer
  • Applies Sulzer processes, directives, standards and systems (management system, 10 golden rules etc.)
  • Acts in compliance with the legal requirements applicable at the place of performance of the service
  • Complies with relevant QESH regulations

What you bring to Sulzer:

  • Education: mechanical / chemical / process engineer degree, ideally Polymer or fractional crystallization background
  • Experience: about 10 years in sales of complex engineered products, ideally polymer industry, knowledge of Indian culture and polymer market.
  • Technical skills / know-how: Mixer, heat exchanger, reactor design, plant construction.
