Designation - Sales Head - Direct Business
Reporting - Business Head
Location - Mumbai
CTC - Up to 40 Lac Fixed + Variable
Key Responsibilities:
Prospect for potential new clients and convert leads into increased business
opportunities. ( Digital Business )
Identify and cultivate relationships with new clients through cold calling and
networking activities within the designated market or geographic area. ( Digital Business )
Identify key decision-makers within client organizations and arrange meetings
to present suitable solutions.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop tailored proposals that address
client needs and objectives.
Participate in pricing discussions and negotiations to ensure competitive
offerings.
Address client objections and concerns effectively to reach positive outcomes.
Present new products and services to existing clients and explore
opportunities for upselling.
Liaise with internal technical teams to ensure customer needs are met
efficiently.
Conduct debriefs with clients to gather feedback and insights for continuous
improvement.
Attend industry events and conferences to stay updated on market trends and
competitor activities.
Provide strategic insights to senior management on business trends and
opportunities for service/product expansion and distribution.
Utilize market knowledge to identify potential campaign opportunities and
develop unique selling propositions.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in the
company & CRM system.
Set and track sales targets and support the team in achieving and exceeding
goals.
Collaborate with the marketing team to fulfill prerequisites for client
engagement, such as prequalification and vendor listings.
Lead and mentor the business development team to ensure continuous
growth and development.
Develop a deep understanding of the company & capabilities and resources to
maximize performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelors degree in business administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
Proven track record of successful business development in the financial
services industry, specifically in BL and LAP.
Strong sales acumen with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced
environment.
Proficiency in CRM software like LSQ and Microsoft Office suite.
Leadership experience with a focus on coaching and development.
Deep understanding of financial products and services, market dynamics, and
competitor landscape.
