- Sales engineers is responsible for selling Bastian Solutions India manufactured conveyors to customers across all India
- Sales engineer is responsible for hunting new customers, selling conveyors to existing Bastian accounts and also prepare / identify potential conveyor buying customers
- Sales engineers must sell other automaton solutions together with conveyors
Performance Objectives:
- Identify right customers for selling conveyors in the allocated regions.
- Build sales pipelines for conveyors together with other equipments.
- Contact /visit existing customers of Bastian and spread awareness about Bastian India manufactured conveyors and capabilities.
- Sell at least 300,000 USD conveyors to customers in a year.
- Make sure the Solution we provide our customers fit their needs and help them achieve their long-term interests.
- New customer business development.
- Cross selling together with system sales

Requirements:
- Diploma /Engineer with Minimum 5-6 years of experience in practical sales experience in the Material Handling Industry.
- Strong computer skills with: MS Office, MS CRM, Dynamics
- Market knowledge.

General Responsibilities:
- Generate leads for selling conveyors.
- Identify right customers and qualify leads.
- Update CRM with leads and convert to opportunities.
- Update CRM with activities and other customer informations.
- Maintain healthy sales pipeline to ensure monthly sales of conveyors.
- Visit customers on daily / weekly basis to ensure / maintain healthy relations.
- Work together with regional sales manager.
- Communicate effectively, timely to internally and externally.
- Maintain cordial relationship with peers and colleagues.
- Coordinate with manufacturing team from RFQ to delivery.
- Sales planning, forecasting, budgeting etc.
- Preparation of techno-commercial proposal.
- Daily/weekly/monthly reporting.
- Competitors mapping and analyzing SWOT.
- Presentations to customers regarding Bastian Solutions and TALG.
- Managing customer visit to manufacturing facilities.
