Job Description
We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic Sales Director to help us grow our business. The ideal applicant will be passionate about developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and coaching and mentoring a high-performing sales team to achieve targets.
This position entails about extensive experience in sales leadership, strategic planning, and business development. The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and leading a high-performing sales & collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Reports to the Vice President of Sales.
- Responsible for managing accounts, independently.
- Understands market trends and demonstrates adaptability to follow those trends.
- Responsible for implementation of sales strategy to sustain existing business and achieve all accounts growth objectives through the identification of the customer requirements relevant to MCW capabilities, customer budget allocation/availability for the opportunity, customer budget approvals process, quotation management, deal negotiations, and closure of qualified opportunities.
- Ability to transcend the geographical and organizational barriers of the accounts to establish contacts and relationships with the influencers, stakeholders, and decision makers at customers organization.
- Build, maintain and present an organizational chart with the Execs of all accounts (with revenue more than 100K$) to VP of Sales, CRO and CEO, periodically.
- Work closely with the Business Unit Heads, VP of Sales, and Chief Revenue Officer on go to market/customer acquisition strategy.
- Focus, analyse and take necessary actions to improve booking across various MulticoreWare business units.
- Drive and collaborate with the business units to develop effective product/solutions/capabilities materials. Facilitate the same in a timely manner to the sales team for customer/segment/market requirements.
- Review of customer activities (FCM, FTM, SOW, Negotiation) with the Vice President of Sales continuously.
- Create customer visit & sales reports and provide feedback to the Vice President of Sales and CRO.
- Work closely with the Sales-Ops team to cover the account operational needs.
CRM activities:
- Maintain the contacts on U Pilot (CRM) tool consistently.
- Manage the opportunities with deal value, deal status, and the progression of the deals over time.
- Provide sales booking and pipeline forecast on a rolling weekly, monthly, quarterly and 12 months basis.
- Responsible for periodic business review meetings with the key accounts.
- Managing customer expectations, issues, and timely escalation to immediate Manager, CRO and business unit's general managers.
- Shall restrict it to no more than a total of 100 accounts at the maximum, including key accounts.
Desired Candidate Profile
- A bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical/computer science engineering. MBA is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years software sales experience with knowledge of services in AI/ML, video, embedded Systems, sensor engineering and/or total AI/ML solutions into enterprise.
- Experience working in Semiconductor/Automotive/Industry Automation/Media industry.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from start to finish. And closed order value upwards of USD 500K
- Exposure to International sales, preferably US/Europe/APAC....
- Ability to manage large and complex organizations across multiple geo locations with multiple million dollars revenue opportunities.
- Strong organizational skills and strategic planning.
- Excellent listening, written, verbal communication, and negotiation skills.
Key Performance Indicators: Measurable
- Booking Target: Achieve/exceed the annual booking target.
- Self-Managed Accounts Growth Plan and execute the Year over Year Growth of the self managed accounts.
- Customer Org Chart - Organizational chart with the reach out to the key influencers and decision makers at 100K$ plus annualized revenue accounts.
- Customer Org Reach - Coverage of customer's Internal Business units, Marketing, and R&D teams.
