Job Title : Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR)
Location: Hybrid Kashmere gate New Delhi
Reports To: Sales Development Manager / Director of Sales
Job Summary:
The Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for proactively reaching out to prospects, initiating conversations, and qualifying leads to generate new business opportunities for the sales team. This role is ideal for a self-motivated, results-driven individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The primary goal is to increase revenue by filling the pipeline with high-quality leads that convert to sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation:
Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calls, emails, and social media outreach.
Research potential customers and markets to identify ideal prospects.
Build and manage a list of target accounts to approach.
Qualifying Leads:
Engage with prospects to understand their business challenges, needs, and goals.
Identify key decision-makers within target companies.
Qualify prospects based on predefined criteria (budget, authority, need, timeline).
Pass qualified leads to the sales team for further engagement.
Pipeline Management:
Maintain accurate records of prospecting activities in the CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Track and update lead status and ensure timely follow-ups.
Continuously nurture and re-engage with prospects who may not be ready immediately.
Collaboration with Sales and Marketing:
Work closely with account executives and marketing to align on messaging and strategies.
Provide feedback on the effectiveness of outreach strategies and marketing materials.
Share insights on market trends, customer pain points, and potential product improvements.
Performance Metrics:
Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly targets for outreach, qualified leads, and sales pipeline growth.
Track key metrics such as response rates, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engeneering or a related field (preferred but not required).
1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related role (preferred).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement tools.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new strategies and tools.
