Role: Sales Development Representative:
Location: Chennai, Tamilnadu
Job Overview: This Sales Development Representative (SDR) role is a focused team-player & a self starter who can think strategically and manage day- to-day activities within the framework of his/her role
Responsibilities in a nutshell:
You will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of reach-outs per day, qualifying prospects, generating interest in FirstHive and scheduling appointments for the Account Sales team
Job Description:
Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
Understand customer needs/requirements and position the product & product-prospect fit accordingly
Unlock new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-ups and outbound calls, emails etc cold
Schedule appointments & route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales professionals for further development
Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory/vertical
Perform effective online demos to prospects
Input relevant data in CRM, generate reports & use sales tools effectively
Requirements:
2+ years of inside sales/ sales development experience, preferably in an enterprise SaaS environment
Track record of achieving or over-achieving appointment or sales quotas
Team-player with a strong phone presence & experience in dialing dozens of calls in a day
Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
Experience working with Salesforce.com/Zoho or similar CRM applications, Sales Navigator, & ZoomInfo or similar leadgen tools.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Strong listening and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Undergraduates/ Graduates/ BBA/BS degree or equivalent, MBA degrees are preferred but not mandatory
