Job Overview:
Principal Accountabilities:
Find & develop qualified leads, then convert them through the sales process into prospects and customers. Continuously keep the sales pipeline full of existing and prospective clients.
Develop sales strategy to produce maximum profitable revenue from broad product mix
Seek additional opportunities with existing customers
Adhere to company's laid down policies governing Credit control and credit offerings to customers. Make all efforts possible in line with the organizations policies to ensure no bad debts account unpaid dues.
Engages prospects and customers to present the company services, always furthering relationships up the value continuum. Advocate for both the company and the customer, striving to find win-win solutions that expand and further client relationships.
Identify customer needs or problems, develop and present solutions or options
Coordinate with other departments to develop and implement customer solutions
Complete price and service quotation in the most competitive way and submit to customer
Performs regular (daily) visits to qualified prospects and customers, in accordance with Management's directives, to drive the business and grow the company's revenue, market share and profitability. Builds relationships at all levels and represents the company in a professional manner, including making presentations.
The first month you should do prospecting and converting, second, third and fourth you shall do one time of your cost respectively; fifth month you shall be required to do twice your cost and at the end of the sixth month, thrice the cost needs to be achieved.
Complete bids, proposals, RFQ, RFI for presentation to customer
Document services to be provided as agreed with the customer in a contract or SLA, if service to be provided is different from basic work instructions, provide operations with customer specific SOP, ensure operations understands additional service requirements
Document actions taken by entering required information into Fast Forward Logistics management system Full compliance with CRM
Complete activity and sales reports and provide monthly MIS and Job Closing report of self and collectively of the Team and ensure targets are met for the assigned Region.
Maximize profitability through efficient customer service, effective and prompt communication, and follow-up on all pending customer matters.
Ensure customer requirements are understood and utilized to meet business expectations.
Resolve critical or escalated issues affecting the customer, staff, or senior management.
Work with senior management to develop a business plan and goals for the branch.
Ensure safety methods, practices and programs are implemented and maintained.
Ensure that freight is moved safely and in a timely manner utilizing appropriate equipment and tools.
To work on obtaining good agents overseas which will improve cargo movements
Train and certify new employees on all performance standards.
Demonstrated success in leading, managing and developing staff and high-performance teams
Meet and exceed target set in terms of contributing and generating revenue
To review P&Ls and to demonstrate in a most responsible manner in all professional activities
To plan and take strategic decisions that will help lead the business to greater heights
Achieves the growth targets (revenue, profit, volume) as defined in the sales planner. Must be capable of closing business independently, although management team / corporate support is readily available.
Performs all other duties as assigned and requested by the management
