Job overview:
We are in search of an enthusiastic and results-oriented Marketing and Sales Executive to join our team in Mumbai. This role is crucial in generating revenue and elevating our market presence for our wood doors and Steel Fire Rated Doors division at Buildstar. The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated individual with a passion for sales and marketing, have a keen understanding of the industry, and can build and maintain strong customer relationships. Eventually they will be handed the responsibility of building and leading a team for this business and creating a profit centre for the company.
Key responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation and Prospecting:
- Generate leads and identify potential customers through various channels such as cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research. Maintain a database of leads and track sales opportunities.
2. Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers. Understand their needs, provide product information, address inquiries, and offer solutions that align with their requirements. Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
3. Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market data.
- Generate regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and opportunities.
- Utilise data-driven insights to refine sales and marketing strategies.
4. Product Promotion and Presentation:
- Promote and demonstrate the features, advantages, and benefits of the company's products or services to potential customers. Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and sales meetings.
5. Sales Negotiation and Closing:
- Negotiate sales terms, pricing, and contracts with customers to secure sales. Address any objections or concerns raised by customers and provide suitable solutions or alternatives. Close sales by obtaining customer commitments and managing the necessary documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, metallurgy or civil engineering, marketing, and business (preferred).
- Knowledge of industry standards, construction processes, and building materials i.e doors specifically is highly valuable.
- Typically, 4-5 years proven track record of experience in sales and marketing or, with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets.
- Ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Adaptability in a dynamic business environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must and familiarity with a CRM software is preferable.
- Excellent Communication Skills in oral and written English.
- Excellent Communication Skills in oral Hindi and Marathi.
