Job Overview
We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for the South region in the FMCG industry. The RSM will be responsible for driving sales and achieving growth targets in the assigned region. This is a full-time position based in the South region with a competitive salary range.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets in the South region.
- Manage and lead a team of sales executives and ensure their productivity and performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retailers.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to the management.
- Monitor and ensure effective implementation of sales and marketing strategies.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and preferences.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and supply chain, to ensure smooth operations.
- Stay updated with industry trends, products, and innovations.
- Organize and participate in industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Regional Sales Manager or similar role in the FMCG industry.
- In-depth knowledge of the South market and consumer trends.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Self-motivated with a result-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
