Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated Retention Sales Associate to join our team and assist with driving customer retention through data-driven marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Retention Sales team to engage with existing clients, assist in the execution of retention campaigns, and use CleverTap (or similar tools) to track, analyze, and optimize customer engagement strategies.
The Junior Retention Sales Executive will play a key role in supporting the retention efforts for clients, helping to reduce churn and increase customer lifetime value (CLTV) by identifying and nurturing customer relationships through targeted, personalized campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Support & Execution:
Assist in the planning and execution of retention campaigns using CleverTap or similar customer engagement platforms.
Work with the sales and customer success teams to develop tailored retention strategies aimed at increasing customer retention and reducing churn.
Help create personalized offers, notifications, push campaigns, email marketing, and in-app messaging to re-engage customers.
Client Engagement & Relationship Building:
Assist in managing client communications by maintaining regular follow-ups, tracking campaign performance, and providing support as needed.
Use CleverTap's analytics and segmentation tools to identify high-risk customers and help design strategies to retain them.
Provide insights into customer behavior to help improve client retention initiatives.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Analyze customer data (e.g., behavior patterns, product usage, etc.) using CleverTap to provide actionable insights and suggestions for improving retention strategies.
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate campaign performance, ROI, and recommendations to the sales and marketing teams.
Monitor KPIs such as churn rate, customer lifetime value, and engagement metrics, and help optimize campaigns based on these insights.
Collaboration with Sales & Marketing Teams:
Work closely with the sales, customer success, and marketing teams to ensure the execution of seamless retention initiatives that align with overall business goals.
Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and proposals for retention-focused clients or prospects.
Help support the creation of marketing collateral (e.g., email templates, banners, and notifications) tailored to specific client segments.
Customer Feedback & Market Research:
Gather customer feedback on campaigns, identifying areas for improvement or potential upsell opportunities.
Assist in research on industry trends, competitor strategies, and new features within CleverTap to ensure that retention strategies remain innovative and effective.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in a sales, retention, or customer success role, ideally within a SaaS, digital marketing, or e-commerce environment.
Familiarity with customer retention techniques and strategies is a plus.
Experience or exposure to CleverTap or similar CRM/engagement platforms is a strong advantage.
Technical Skills:
Basic knowledge of CleverTap, Salesforce, or other customer engagement tools.
Ability to analyze customer data and derive actionable insights.
Familiarity with marketing automation and retention tools such as push notifications, email marketing, and SMS marketing.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Problem-solving mindset, with a willingness to learn and improve processes.
Analytical thinking with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Preferred:
Previous experience working with marketing automation platforms or customer engagement software.
Basic knowledge of segmentation, customer lifecycle management, and CRM tools.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.
