We are looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to oversee sales operations in multiple states across India. The ideal candidate should have at least 12-13 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the job market context of India. The role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to manage a team, and a track record of achieving sales targets in a highly competitive market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets in the assigned region
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team sales targets
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders in the region
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with other departments such as marketing, finance, and operations to ensure smooth sales operations
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management
  • Continuously improve sales processes and procedures to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the company's products and services, industry trends, and customer needs to inform sales strategies and initiatives

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • 12-13 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the job market context of India
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading a team to success
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make strategic decisions
  • In-depth knowledge of sales processes, techniques, and tools
  • Experience in managing relationships with key customers and partners
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
