Generate business leads internally and externally.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients nationwide.
Cultivate new Warehouse Services sales leads to establish business and market/ negotiate offered services. (3PL,CONTRACT LOGISTICS)
Leverage company value proposition to expand customer base.
Manage resource allocation while identifying emerging markets and market shifts.
Accountable for overseeing the regional sales team's performance and guiding them in achieving their quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly sales targets within the designated territory.
Execute weekly/monthly executive summaries for C-level leadership.
Drive customer retention and growth through strategic account planning and relationship building.
Generate insights leveraging internal and external business intelligence to report on, and drive the business.
Calculate and measure risk profile for strategic plans and decisions.
Work cross-functionally to review pricing, market penetration and service KPIs.
Responsible for accounts receivables and accessorial charge management as well as providing all documentation needed for claims resolution.
Develop and maintain an understanding of the competitive landscape.
Drive both revenue and margin growth across multiple verticals and modes.
Responsible for the management of customers load acceptance process as well as the creation of SOPs for each respective system.
Create sales calendar, attend customer events and conduct annual business reviews.
Clearly understand goals, policies, and procedures of the company.
Masters degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Proven track record of successful sales leadership within the cargo, logistics, or transportation industry.
Strong understanding of regional market dynamics and business drivers within the logistics and transportation sector.
Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales-related software for sales tracking and reporting. Previous experience working with contract management systems, word processing, spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentation.
Demonstrated ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
