Description
We are seeking a highly skilled QA Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 2-7 years of experience in software testing, with a strong background in manual and automated testing methodologies. The candidate should be familiar with industry-standard tools and technologies used in software testing. The candidate should also have excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures based on software requirements and design documents.
- Identify, track, and report defects and issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with software developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality software development.
- Participate in the design and development of software testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
- Conduct both manual and automated testing of software applications.
- Perform regression testing, performance testing, and other types of testing as required.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software development process and testing methodologies.
Skills and Qualifications
- 2-7 years of experience in software testing.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Experience with industry-standard testing tools such as Selenium, JMeter, and TestNG.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies.
- Experience working with software development teams in an Agile environment.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
