Product Manager-CPaaS

About Us:

Rakuten CPaaS platform is designed to help enterprises connect with their customers through various communication channels including SMS, voice, and more. Our platform offers a comprehensive set of APIs that make it easy for enterprises to integrate messaging and other communication capabilities into their existing systems.

About the role:

Be a part of the Rakuten Symphony core Product Management team. Work closely with development team in agile manner to release new features and enhancement for CPaaS Product.

Work in a global team spread across Japan, India and UK in different time zones. Open to off hour availability due to work as required.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into features.

Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design mockups and prototypes.

Participate in Agile/Scrum development methodologies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Develop and execute the product strategy for the CPaaS platform, including defining the product roadmap, prioritizing features, and managing the product backlog.

Conduct market research and gather feedback from customers and stakeholders to identify new features and improvements to the platform.

Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, sales, marketing, business operations and customer success to ensure the successful development and launch of new features and updates to the platform.

Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new features and updates to the platform.

Monitor and analyze key metrics to measure the success of the platform and identify areas for improvement.

Act as a product evangelist, promoting the platform to customers, partners, and industry events.

Must have Requirements:

• Experience with CPaaS (Communication Platform as a Services)
• Experience with Communication Channel, SMS, Messaging, OTT, Email

Minimum Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, Business, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in product management, with proven experience in developing and launching API based CPaaS features
• Fluent in English
• Ability to work with remote teams in different time zones.
• Ability to take a full responsibility over a task/feature and deliver it with high quality from beginning to end independently.
• Ability to write detailed technical product specification for backend and front end by communicating with stakeholders.
• Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to support product decisions.

• Experience with Database, CRM, Marketing Analytics Product
• Experience with Communication, API, cloud-based products
