Job Description

Position Title: Plant HR Manager

Experience Required: 4-10 Years

Compensation Range: 5,00,000 - 9,00,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Plant HR Manager to join our manufacturing facility in Hazira. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of human resources management, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a positive work environment to enhance employee engagement and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Operations: Manage day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies related to HR practices, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to promote employee engagement, morale, and retention, fostering a culture of inclusivity and collaboration.
  • Industrial Relations (IR): Handle IR matters effectively, addressing grievances, conducting disciplinary actions, and managing negotiations with employee representatives or unions.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs, organize training programs, and support employee development initiatives to enhance skills and competencies.
  • Time Office Management: Oversee timekeeping, attendance management, and payroll processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting: Generate HR reports and metrics to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and HR analytics, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Health and Safety: Collaborate with health and safety teams to maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: MBA in Human Resources Management or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 4-10 years of progressive experience in HR management, preferably within the manufacturing sector.

Skills:

  • Solid understanding of HR functions, including recruitment, compliance, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations applicable to manufacturing industries.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and MS Office suite.
  • Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
