Job Description
The E-commerce Operations Executive will oversee and manage all aspects of our online retail operations to ensure seamless order processing, efficient logistics coordination, and exceptional customer service. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and expertise in e-commerce platforms like Shopify. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of operational efficiency and customer satisfaction across our e-commerce channels.
Key Responsibilities
Orders Processing:
- Manage the end-to-end order processing workflow, from order placement to fulfillment.
- Ensure orders are accurately processed and fulfilled on time, coordinating with internal teams and logistics partners as necessary.
Returns Tracking:
- Implement and manage a returns tracking system to facilitate the smooth processing of customer returns and exchanges.
- Ensure returns are handled promptly and in accordance with company policies.
Logistics Negotiation:
- Negotiate terms and agreements with logistics providers to optimize shipping costs, transit times, and service levels.
- Monitor performance metrics and resolve any issues related to logistics and shipping.
Order Fulfillment:
- Coordinate with fulfillment centers to manage inventory levels and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies to maintain smooth operations.
Timely Delivery to Customers:
- Oversee the shipping process to ensure orders are delivered to customers within agreed timelines.
- Implement strategies to minimize shipping delays and improve delivery efficiency.
Knowledge of Fulfillment Centers:
- Utilize expertise in fulfillment center operations to optimize inventory management and order processing workflows.
- Collaborate with fulfillment partners to improve operational efficiencies and service quality.
Knowledge of Shopify Website Dashboard:
- Proficiently navigate and utilize Shopify's backend dashboard to manage product listings, inventory, and orders.
- Implement changes and updates to optimize the online shopping experience and backend operations.
Discount Code Generation on Shopify:
- Generate and manage discount codes on Shopify to support promotional campaigns and customer incentives.
- Monitor usage and effectiveness of discount codes, adjusting strategies as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in e-commerce operations, with a focus on order processing, logistics management, and customer service.
- Strong understanding of fulfillment center operations and logistics negotiation.
- Proficiency in using Shopify's backend dashboard for order management, product listings, and discount code generation.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
