Network Security Consultant

Looking for experienced Network Security Engineer to work with one of our product based US client in Bangalore.

Work Location : Hybrid (UB City, MG Road Bengaluru)

Experience : 6+ Yrs

Looking for candidates who worked on Firewall management/security within the Network Infra.

Description:

Good understanding of OSI Layers

Good conceptual understanding of network security technologies

Expertise on firewall products - Cisco ASA , Checkpoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto and Juniper

Expertise on Firewall Management products - Checkpoint Mgmt Server R80, FortiManager , JunOS Manager, Panorama

Good understanding in VPN concepts ( S2S VPN, SSL Remote VPN )

Should have minimum basic knowledge of IDS , IPS technologies

Should have Firewall analyzer tool experience ( ACL rules and config ) like Skybox, AlgoSec, etx.

Any Firewall monitoring tool experience preferred i.e NNM

Operational experience in monitoring devices such as firewalls/routers/switches, network IPS logs.

Should have prior experience in the area of security log analyze using any market leading tool like SPLUNK

Understanding of attack activities, such as scans, man in the middle, sniffing, DoS, etc and possible abnormal activities, such as worms, Trojans, viruses, etc.

Referring knowledge base for identified known threats and performing analysis, providing mitigation plan and act on fixing those.

• Should have knowledge of IT Operation tools like ITSM , Jira .

Should have good understanding of ITIL processes

Should have good understanding of Change management, Incident management and Problem Management

Should have prior experience in Change control process

Preliminary analysis of alerts and raising incident tickets

Follow the defined process to complete open requests to maintain adherence to defined SLAs.

Good communication skills

Ability to support 24/7 on-call rotation

• Ability to work in US shift in weekly rotation as required.
