ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a MIS Analyst, with eagerness to learn to join our team at Modern Spaces. The ideal candidate will be an expert in Microsoft Excel and will be responsible for maintaining and analyzing data, generating reports, and providing valuable insights to support stakeholders in making informed decisions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Management:

oMaintain, update, and ensure the accuracy of data in Excel.

oOrganize and manage data sources for timely access and analysis.

oCreate, update, and improve data templates and models for better efficiency.

Reporting & Analysis:

oDevelop daily, weekly, and monthly reports using Excel tools (pivot tables, charts, formulas, etc.).

oAnalyse data trends to support business decision-making processes.

oPresent data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders and management.

Planning & Forecasting Support:

oCollaborate with various departments to understand their data needs and provide relevant reports.

oSupport business planning and budgeting by offering actionable insights from data.

oAssist in forecasting by interpreting key performance metrics and trends.

Stakeholder Engagement:

oWork closely with department heads, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver accurate, customized reports.

oProvide guidance and recommendations based on analysis to optimize business strategies and processes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Technical Skills:

oExpert in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Macros, Pivot Tables, etc.).

oProficient in data analysis and visualization tools (Google Data Studio is a plus).

Analytical Skills:

oStrong analytical mindset with an eye for detail and accuracy.

oAbility to analyze data, identify patterns, and provide actionable insights.

Soft Skills:

oExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

oStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Educational Background:

oShould have a bachelor's degree.

o03 years of experience in MIS, Data Analysis, or a related role.
