Job Description: MICE Ticketing Executive

Location: Sion

Role Overview:
As a MICE Ticketing Executive, you will be responsible for managing the travel and ticketing arrangements for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) events. You will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless travel logistics, including flight bookings, accommodation, and other travel-related services. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and expertise in travel management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ticketing & Reservations:
  • Handle air ticket bookings for MICE groups, ensuring cost-effective and timely reservations.
  • Process cancellations, rebooking, and refunds as needed.
  • Coordinate with airlines and travel agencies to confirm flight schedules and seating arrangements.
  • Group Travel Coordination:
  • Plan and manage travel itineraries for large groups attending MICE events.
  • Ensure smooth coordination of flight schedules, transfers, and accommodations for all participants.
  • Liaise with transportation providers for airport pickups and local transfers.
  • Client & Vendor Relations:
  • Maintain communication with corporate clients, ensuring their travel requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with airlines, hotels, and other travel service providers to negotiate group rates and special arrangements.
  • Provide clients with updates, travel documentation, and assistance throughout the booking process.
  • Documentation & Compliance:
  • Ensure that all travel documentation, including tickets, visas, and travel insurance, is processed and provided to clients in a timely manner.
  • Monitor compliance with travel policies and MICE event guidelines.
  • Manage traveler profiles and maintain accurate records of bookings and itineraries.
  • Budgeting & Cost Management:
  • Work within the allocated travel budget for MICE groups, optimizing costs while maintaining service quality.
  • Provide accurate cost estimates for ticketing and travel arrangements.
  • Track and reconcile travel expenses, providing regular reports to the management team.
  • Customer Support:
  • Offer excellent customer service, resolving any travel-related issues such as flight delays, cancellations, or changes.
  • Provide 24/7 support during MICE events to handle emergencies or last-minute changes.
  • Assist clients with special requests, such as seat upgrades or meal preferences.
  • Technology & Tools:
  • Use Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo to manage bookings and reservations.
  • Utilize CRM and other travel management software to keep track of bookings, client preferences, and reporting.
  • Stay updated on travel industry technology to improve service efficiency.
  • Market & Industry Knowledge:
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in the MICE industry, including new airline routes, travel restrictions, and best practices.
  • Build knowledge of preferred airlines, hotel chains, and travel vendors that offer optimal services for MICE events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in ticketing, travel management, or MICE industry.
  • Proficiency in GDS platforms (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) and other travel booking tools.
  • Strong understanding of group travel coordination and event logistics.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 25,000.00 - 50,000.00 per month
