Role Overview: As the Lending Operations Manager for our Business Loan Vertical, you will oversee and optimize the end-to-end lending process for business loans. Your primary responsibilities will include managing loan operations, ensuring compliance, enhancing operational efficiency, and leading a team of professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our business clients.
Operational Management: Oversee daily operations of the business loan vertical, ensuring smooth and efficient processing of loan applications from origination to disbursement and servicing.
- Process Optimization: Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce turnaround times, and improve the overall borrower experience.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all lending processes adhere to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices. Monitor and manage risks associated with loan operations.- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of lending operations professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
- Customer Service: Work closely with the customer service team to address and resolve any issues or concerns related to loan processing. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Technology Integration: Collaborate with IT and technology teams to implement and optimize lending technology solutions that support operational goals and improve process efficiency.- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, including loan volume, processing times, and compliance metrics. Use data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with other departments, including underwriting, credit risk, and finance, to ensure a seamless loan process and resolve any interdepartmental issues.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) is a plus.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in lending operations or a similar role, with a strong understanding of business loan products and processes.
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team toward achieving operational goals.- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in lending operations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions and process improvements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in lending software systems and technology platforms. Experience with CRM and loan management systems is advantageous.
