As we expand, we are looking for a passionate and proactive Inside Sales Specialist to join our team, working across both B2C and B2B segments.
Role Overview:
The Inside Sales Specialist will be responsible for generating leads, nurturing relationships, and converting inquiries into successful registrations. You will engage with both B2C customers, such as parents seeking school admissions or extracurricular programs for their children, and B2B clients, including educational institutions looking to partner with Skoolz.in for visibility and reach. This role requires a dynamic and adaptable professional with a consultative approach to sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Outreach:
- Generate leads through various channels, including digital platforms, inbound inquiries, cold calling, and email campaigns.
- Identify and qualify prospective customers and clients in both B2C and B2B segments.
Customer Engagement:
- Conduct outbound calls to prospective parents and institutions, providing detailed information about Skoolz.in's services and benefits.
- Build strong relationships with B2C and B2B clients by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
Sales Conversion:
- Work towards monthly sales targets, converting inquiries into successful registrations or partnerships.
- Follow up with prospective clients, address queries, and guide them through the decision-making process.
Consultative Sales Approach:
- Educate customers on the unique value of Skoolz.in, aligning solutions with their educational needs and goals.
- Provide a personalized experience by understanding client requirements, offering suitable options, and assisting in decision-making.
CRM and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, leads, and sales in the CRM system.
- Track and report on sales activities, client feedback, and market trends, contributing insights for product improvement and sales strategy.
Collaborative Efforts:
- Work closely with the marketing team to align sales activities with ongoing campaigns and promotions.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new B2B clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 0-5 years of experience in inside sales, preferably within ed-tech, B2C, or B2B sales environments.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand customer needs and present tailored solutions.
- Familiarity with CRM software and lead tracking.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the education sector or with an ed-tech company.
- Knowledge of local school and educational institution landscape.
