Infor Syteline Functional Consultant

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Infor Syteline Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, particularly with Infor Syteline. This role is vital to ensuring our clients maximize their use of the Syteline system to achieve their business goals. You will work closely with clients to analyze their requirements, design solutions, and provide guidance throughout the implementation and support processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate these into Syteline system requirements.
• Provide functional expertise and subject matter knowledge to guide clients in best practices for Syteline implementation.
• Configure and customize Infor Syteline based on client requirements, including but not limited to manufacturing, inventory management, financials, and supply chain modules.
• Conduct research and troubleshoot functional issues in a timely fashion, ensuring optimal system performance.
• Develop and deliver training materials and user documentation for end-users and stakeholders.
• Participate in the testing phases of implementations, including system testing, UAT, and validation of configurations.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with internal teams and clients to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress.
• Assist in data migration activities, ensuring data integrity and accuracy during the transition to Syteline.
• Stay up to date with the latest product enhancements, features, and best practices within Infor Syteline, making recommendations for improvement.
• Build strong relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor for Infor Syteline-related queries.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3 to 10 years of experience as a Functional Consultant, with a focus on Infor Syteline ERP solutions.
• Strong understanding of business processes in manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, and finance.
• Expertise in configuring and customizing Infor Syteline, with a thorough understanding of its modules.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to develop effective solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Experience with project management methodologies is a plus (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
• Ability to travel occasionally for client engagements and project activities, if necessary.
• Relevant Infor certifications are highly desirable.
