Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Management: Handle incoming leads and inquiries generated through various channels, such as phone calls, emails, and website forms. Qualify leads based on established criteria and ensure prompt follow-up and effective lead nurturing.
  2. Consultative Selling: Engage with potential clients to understand their background verification needs and challenges. Conduct thorough needs assessments and provide tailored solutions to address their specific requirements.
  3. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the company's background verification services, features, and benefits. Stay updated on industry trends, compliance regulations, and competitive offerings to effectively position the company's solutions.
  4. Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with potential clients by establishing trust, demonstrating expertise, and understanding their pain points. Maintain regular communication and provide timely and accurate information to nurture prospects through the sales cycle.
  5. Solution Presentations: Conduct persuasive and informative presentations to potential clients, showcasing the value and benefits of the company's background verification services. Address client questions and concerns and provide appropriate solutions based on their unique needs.
  6. Proposal Development: Prepare and present proposals and price quotations to potential clients. Customize proposals to align with client requirements, ensuring accurate pricing, service scope, and terms and conditions.
  7. Sales Pipeline Management: Effectively manage and update the sales pipeline in the CRM system. Track all sales activities, including calls, meetings, proposals, and follow-ups. Provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and key metrics.
  8. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including the operations team, sales managers, and marketing team, to ensure seamless coordination in delivering client solutions. Provide feedback on market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights to contribute to business strategy and product development.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (preferred)
  • Proven experience in an inbound sales role, preferably in the background verification or HR industry
  • Strong persuasive communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with a consultative selling approach
  • Ability to quickly understand client needs and translate them into tailored solutions
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads and sales activities
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of background verification processes, compliance requirements, and industry best practices
