Job Title: HR Manager
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HR Manager to oversee all aspects of human
resources within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive
understanding of HR functions, employee relations, labour laws, and best practices. This role
requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive
approach to addressing HR needs across various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Support governing boards of the respective businesses in developing a view of
requirements, priorities, outcomes and critical thinking about human resources.
Strategic HR Planning:
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization's objectives.
Collaborate with senior management to forecast HR needs and plan for future workforce
requirements.
Employee Relations:
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including conflict
resolution, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment through effective communication and
conflict management strategies.
Recruitment and Onboarding:
Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing,
and selection.
Develop and implement onboarding programs to ensure new employees are integrated
smoothly into the organization.
HR Compliance:
Ensure compliance with relevant labour laws, regulations, and company policies.
Stay updated on changes in employment legislation and proactively address any compliance
issues.
HR Administration:
Oversee HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records, processing
payroll, and managing benefits administration.
Implement and maintain HR systems and databases to streamline processes and ensure
data accuracy.
Analytical and Quantitative understanding: To gather, organize, visualize and assimilate
data which can help ascertain ongoing and future trends.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years in
HR leadership positions.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field;
Master's degree preferred.
In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
Strong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to influence and engage
stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on building
positive relationships.
Demonstrated experience in managing employee relations, performance
management, and talent development initiatives.
Proficiency in HRIS software/HR technology familiarity and MS Office applications.
