Overview - We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Sales Operations Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our sales operations by performing data entry tasks, managing and facilitating the flow of data between sales and accounting, and ensuring accurate and timely billing.
Requirements
- Perform accurate and efficient data entry related to sales operations
- Facilitate the transfer of data from sales to accounting for billing purposes
- Ensure all sales orders and billing information are processed and recorded accurately
- Assist in maintaining and updating sales records and databases
- Communicate with sales and accounting teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Adhere to documented processes and contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Generate and distribute regular sales reports to relevant stakeholders
- Provide administrative support to the sales team as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field is preferred
- Proven experience in a data entry or administrative role, preferably within a sales or accounting environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with CRM and ERP systems
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with sales and accounting principles is a plus
