About the Company:Established in 1964, it's a manufacturers and suppliers of mild steel drums and barrels. Types of drums it produces such as Lightweight drums, Epoxy coated drums and Open mouth drums or as per customer demands used for storage and transportation requirements for items such as - petroleum products, lubricating oils, chemicals & pharmaceutical products.

Designation:HR Manager

Office Location:Lucknow

Overview of the role: The HRManager is responsible for all aspects of human resources for the sheet metal manufacturing company, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, training, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and compliance. The HRManager will work closely with the HR Head, other senior executives, and managers to ensure that the company has a highly skilled and motivated workforce. Here is an overview of their key role and responsibilities:-

1.Recruitment and Staffing:

Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.

Conduct job interviews, screen candidates, and manage the hiring process.

Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.

2.Employee Relations:

Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by addressing employee concerns and conflicts.

Develop and enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring legal compliance.

Conduct investigations and mediate disputes as necessary.

3.Performance Management:

Implement performance appraisal systems and provide guidance to managers on performance reviews.

Develop and oversee employee development plans and training programs.

Manage disciplinary actions and terminations when necessary.

4.Benefits Administration:

Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.

Communicate benefits information to employees and assist with enrollment and inquiries.

5.Compliance and Legal Matters:

Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Maintain and update HR policies and employee handbooks to reflect current legal requirements.

6.Payroll and Compensation:

Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy in compensation and benefits.

Participate in salary surveys to determine competitive pay rates.

7.Talent Development:

Identify opportunities for skill development and career growth for employees.

Collaborate with managers to create training programs and succession plans.

8.HR Metrics and Reporting:

Maintain HR records and generate reports on key HR metrics.

Use data to make informed decisions and recommendations.

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.

10+ years of experiencein human resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
