We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Procurement to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2-12 years of experience in procurement in the Indian job market context. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing, and contract negotiations. The candidate should be able to develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures that support organizational goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Managing and supervising procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing, and contract negotiations.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to identify procurement needs and develop effective procurement plans.
- Ensuring that all procurement activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
- Evaluating supplier performance and developing supplier relationships.
- Analyzing procurement data and preparing reports for senior management.
- Managing procurement budgets and ensuring cost-effective procurement practices.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-12 years of experience in procurement in India.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing procurement strategies that support organizational goals and objectives.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
