GCP Data Engineer

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled GCP Data Engineer with 4-8 years of experience to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The GCP Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data stores on GCP.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines and data stores on GCP
• Work closely with data scientists and analysts to ensure data is available and accessible
• Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability and cost efficiency
• Develop and maintain data integration solutions between GCP and other systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex data problems
• Ensure data security and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Maintain documentation of data pipelines, data stores and integration solutions

Skills and Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience in data engineering
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage and DataProc
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java or Scala
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling
• Experience with ETL tools such as Apache Beam or Apache Spark
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
