We are looking for Actuarial Specialist with atleast 4-6yrs exp in Non-Life US GI P&C, Pricing Actuarial Modelling EMBLEM, RADAR
Actuarial Function
Role Overview:
Doing independent research, analyze, and present data as assigned
Expected to work in close collaboration with the EXL team and clients on general insurance actuarial projects for US markets
Critically examine and deep dive into pricing models
Prepare detailed documentation for rate revision, rate review, pricing models and valuation reports and preparing presentations
Assist in learning and development of new team members
Identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines
Key Responsibilities:
Complete understanding of the current state of affairs and problem statement
Interacting with clients on regular basis, understanding their requirements and transforming that into business framework and providing actuarial solutions
Experience in data extraction and data manipulation in Excel, R/Python/SAS
Experience in data control and data automation
In-depth data analysis like identifying major trends, univariate and multi-variate analysis
Personal and commercial lines general insurance pricing, reserving for US insurance markets
Knowledge of general insurance domain and P&C actuarial concepts is a must
Candidate Profile:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in economics, mathematics, actuarial sciences
Affiliation to IAI or IFOA, with at least 4-10 Actuarial Papers
4-6 years experience, with good understanding of P&C pricing / reserving actuarial concepts
Strong analytical skills with previous experience of applying actuarial/statistical methodologies to business problems
Good Knowledge of GI actuarial modeling package such as RADAR, Earnix Or EMBLEM
Strong IT skills, will need to be comfortable with basic programming in SAS and eager to develop this skill.
Exposure to US general insurance market is preferable
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Able to work in fast pace continuously evolving environment and ready to take up uphill challenges
Is able to understand cross cultural differences and can work with clients across the globe
