Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled
DSP Systems Engineer to design, develop, and validate advanced signal processing algorithms for next-generation sensing systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in
Detection & Estimation Theory, Random Processes Analysis, and
Digital Communications, and will play a critical role in developing algorithms that power our LiDAR and perception platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and verify advanced signal processing algorithms using Detection & Estimation Theory and Random Processes Analysis.
- Simulate and model end-to-end systems to meet defined performance specifications.
- Analyze and validate algorithm performance against real-world sensor data.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and system teams to integrate DSP algorithms into production systems.
- Optimize algorithm performance for computational efficiency and accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree (MSEE or equivalent) with a focus in Digital Signal Processing or Digital Communications Theory.
- 6+ years of experience in DSP algorithm development and system-level design.
- Strong mathematical and theoretical background in DSP, estimation, and communication systems.
- Proven experience designing and optimizing DSP algorithms for Radar, LiDAR, or other advanced sensors.
- Proficiency in MATLAB and C/C++; experience with Python or similar languages.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Hands-on experience with Radar or LiDAR Signal Processing (FMCW).
- Expertise in Radar link budgets, Signal-to-Noise (SNR), Signal-to-Clutter, and Minimum Detectable Signal analysis.
- Experience implementing DSP algorithms on FPGAs or embedded platforms.
