Job Description Director (Sales + BD)

Location: Pune

Experience: 10+ Years

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director to join our team at MorphRE. The

candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building, and

maintaining relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a deep

understanding of the AEC industry, particularly in BIM, to effectively promote our services

and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation and Prospecting:

Conduct market research to identify potential national and international clients within

the BIM industry.

Utilize resources such as industry directories, online platforms, and social media.

Outbound Sales Initiatives:

Initiate outbound calls and email campaigns to prospective clients.

Present BIM services, highlighting features, benefits, and unique value propositions.

Bring in new clients and generate new business for the company.

Tailored Sales Pitches:

Customize pitches to align with cultural and linguistic preferences of the target

audience.

Lead Qualification and Follow-Up:

Assess leads by evaluating their interest, needs, and budget constraints.

Gather relevant information and update the customer database.

Conduct follow-up calls to nurture relationships and move leads through the sales

funnel.

Relationship Building:

Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients through regular follow-

ups.

Understand their business objectives and pain points related to BIM implementation.

Present tailored solutions to address client needs.

CRM Management:

Utilize CRM tools to track interactions, record sales activities, and manage customer

information.

Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of leads, contacts, and sales opportunities.

Overcoming Objections and Closing Deals:

Address objections during sales calls using persuasive techniques.

Employ effective closing techniques to secure deals and achieve sales targets.

Market Awareness and Opportunity Identification:

Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and industry developments.

Identify opportunities for campaigns, and distribution channels to increase sales.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with the sales and marketing team to generate qualified leads and

schedule demos.

Assist in developing proposals that address clients needs and objectives.

Leadership & Management:

Provide leadership and strategic direction for the BIM Architecture studio.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.

Represent the company at industry events and collaborate with project managers to

ensure client requirements are met.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree in business, marketing, engineering, architecture, or a related field

preferred.

Minimum 8 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing,

including experience on BIM projects.

Skills and Knowledge:

Proven experience in sales, business development, or lead generation within the BIM

or construction industry.

Strong understanding of BIM concepts, software applications, and industry

standards.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with

diverse stakeholders.

Experience in large-scale and complex projects is desirable.

Experience and working knowledge of international standards of BIM.

Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.

Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.

Experience in cold calling, email campaigns, and networking strategies.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple

leads simultaneously.

Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

Additional Qualifications:

Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as required.

Familiarity with international markets, cultures, and business practices.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Passion for sales and a persuasive personality.

Good understanding of IT products and latest technologies like AI, Machine Learning etc.
